8) Wonderful Mamma. 8)
(Beautiful to Me)

~~Mamma~~
Mamma used to do or say funny things just to see if we were listening… but this shared moment in time was simply her being herself.

Mamma loved her little baby dolls - most often in the form of bears, or discarded babies from her children and grandchildren. She had them on the back of her couch where she could see them most of the time, and had several tucked away all over her bedroom. She received one just two months ago - this February, for Valentines. We all know the ones, you press the button and they sing and dance. Mamma had played with that dolly for quite some time - pressing the button to keep it singing and dancing. The cutest part was that she sang along with it - almost TO it, and moved her arms to dance along with it. It was certainly her little Valentine. Mamma was focused on the doll, the dancing, the singing - able to be as much of a kid as she could for a few short moments. I don't think I'll ever look at any of those dollies the same any more.

I used to think going over Mammas was boring, but once I focused on Mamma, and listened to her stories, and the things she'd say, I realized she was a VERY funny and cute woman, and that her words were genuinely priceless.

The powerpoint slide I made for her & hung beside her phone about the firemen who came to her house...

She kind of looks like an angel in this picture...

At Crystall's baby shower I had gotten her a cute little crown headband to wear. For some reason it seemed like a good idea to put it on Mamma for a bit. This is my favorite picture of Mamma - She's so darn cute with it on! She's being shy tho in this pic. We were telling her she was so cute with it. (And without) lol.

This was a favorite picture of some of the family. Man was that wind blowing. 8)
