Some games to play to avoid being bored...

Slap or Flinch
Both players place hands on top of each other. Palm to palm, the person below tries to slap the hands above. Three moves and something BAD happens. Lol.

Shoe Golf!! Every one losens their shoe laces and each person has a turn at kicking their shoe off. Who ever kicks their shoe the farthest wins. Best to be played in an open field. Could play at a more advanced level on a frisbee golf course.

Ok, I'll call this game THREE. It is best to play with 5-12 people. In this game every one sits in a circle and counts up from one. I would say "one", the person to my right "two" and the person to his right would say "nothing". All numbers that are divisible by three are replaced by a clap*. 1-2-*-4-5-*-7-8-*. when you get to numbers that are divisable by 10 you say Pa and flip your hand as if to shoo a fly. 10 = Pa 20 = Pa-pa ect... The two last details are flapping and punishments. When every one gets the basics, it is only proper to add some sort of distraction. Besides, silly games are only silly if they look silly. All people playing this game should have both of their thumbs in their armpits. In doing this you can/must flap your arms like a chicken. You may take your thumbs out to clap and go "pa". If somone says a forbiden number the game stops and they must be punished. One great punishment is every one else points at the person that messed up and says "Stupid, Stupid, Stupid" In a high pitched voice. Another Punishment is Papa Smurf. The "stupid" leans over the table so his/her back is an easy surface. At this point all the other players patter their closed fists to the tune of "La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la" on the persons back and end with a slap. It may sound a little extream but it does not hurt. If you don't want to do Papa smurf you just do smurfs, fingers instead of fists. And yes, this game is from Korea!!

thumb game? Um... well you have everyone's right (or left) hand
in the middle of the table with their thumb held by their other fingers of
the hand in a fist position (the way a person shouldn't punch). The other
un-used hand is holding the ear-lobe of the side that the hand belongs to,
this is the hand that you slap with. The starting person says a number and
everyone IMMEDIATELY reacts with either putting their hidden thumb up, or
keeping it down. If the number said is not the number of thumbs that go up,
then the thumbs all go back down and it is the next person's turn to say a
number. If the same number of thumbs come up as is said, THEN you slap your
ear-lobe hand into the middle as fast as possible. The last person to get
their hand in gets hit by all the rest (and the last person to slap the
losers hand, the loser is allowed to try and dodge). That's basically the
game.. By Luke

Finger Fencing otherwise known as Star-Wars. This is a two-person game of power, stealth and finger. First of all is the hand position. Reach out to shake hands with your opponent. rather than having your fingers extending twoards the ground have them pointing upwards ( like the cool way they shake hands in Hawaii). When in this shake, you will mostly be holding the other persons thumb joint and he/she like wise will be holding yours. Now point your index finger at your opponent. Now you are ready to for a duel. The point is to touch our opponent any where with the tip of your finger and avoid being touched. stay away from sharp edges. I will not be held liable for any injuries incured in the event of... yeah.

Leg Link. In this game you can start with up to 12 people (if you think you can manage more, go for it.) Every one stands in a tight/small circle each facing the back of someones head. At this point things get tricky. Put a hand on the shoulder of the person in front of you while you lift the leg on the inside of the circle and tuck your foot into the back of the knee of the person behind you. The person in front of you will do the same, feel free to help them place their foot. Now miraculously you are all linked and standing on one foot. you can even put a little weight on the person behind you. Now take your hand off of the shoulder in front of you. At this point every one starts hopping in a circle as fast as they can. After a bit, momentum builds or legs get tired and people fly out. Start again minus the person/people that flew out. At this point you can chose to alternate feet. The circle of people gets smaller and smaller until only two people are left.

BUTTON, BUTTON, WHO'S GOT THE BUTTON
All the players except one sit in a circle with their hands pressed together (palms together as when someone prays), while the one not sitting presses his palms together holding a button. He passes his pressed-together hands between the pressed-together palms of each of the seated players (so that no one can see whether he leaves the button in the seated player's hands) and secretly leaves the button in the hands of one of them. The standing player then chants: "Button, Button, Who's got the button?" and calls the name of one of the seated players. That player must guess which of the others has the button in his or her hands. The successful guesser may then take a turn at distributing a button and calling for guesses. If the chanter and button giver chooses to give the name of the person to whom the button was given, that person can dissemble by "guessing" another person's name even when he or she knows the guess is wrong.

Dollar Dollar
Thanks to Kim Arsenault and her Guides for teaching me this singing game!
The Song:
Dollar, dollar how you wander
From the one hand to the other
Is it fair, is it fair
To leave poor (name of girl in centre of circle) standing there?

The Game:
Have everyone stand in a circle, close together. One person stands in the middle of the circle. Everyone in the circle holds their left hands palm up, with the fingers curled slightly so that the person in the middle wouldn't be able to see objects hidden in the hand. One person in the circle is given a dollar coin (if you're not in Canada, substitute a quarter or whatever you'd like!). During the song, everyone pretends they're picking up the dollar from their left hand using their right hand, and passing it to the person on their right. Of course, whoever has the dollar coin actually does pass it along! When the verse is over, everyone pauses with their right hand hiding an imaginary object in their left hand (except for whoever's got the coin... they're actually hiding it!) The person in the middle of the circle has two chances to guess who has the coin. If she's right, she stays in the centre. If she's wrong, she trades places with whoever had the coin.
