What I Miss About Romeo... aka - Romeo's Tribute.
I just got the game Burnout 4 (Burnout Revenge or something like that for the X-Box), and I couldn't help but think that it would be MUCH more fun to beat the game with Romeo around, and with his help - he's a darn good driver! But me and a another friend (Kiki) had also been talking about what we missed about Romeo too, and here's a few things...
I miss Romeo's smile... and his laughter - it's contageous! I miss his spectacular stunts, and the funny way he puts together words. I miss his creativity, and his originality (when he's being himself), which is actually most of the time. I miss the excitement he brings to life around here.
I miss Romeo's excitement. We play DDR now for the X-Box, and it would be sooo much fun to have him around to play it too. Hell - we play a LOT of things that it would be fun to have him around to play. I miss having him around to play things - my games are sitting on the shelf and collecting dust. My poor X-Box had sat there and collected dust - may as well said "In memory of Romeo" - until Jonathan came over and perked things up a couple of times. But it's still not the same without Romeo.
I miss Romeo's shit. I'll take his shit any time over not having him around at all. His friends that he has right now are lucky and I hope they KNOW it. I hope they treat him Very well, and take his shit, because once he's gone they'll know what they're missing. I fought to avoid missing him, but to no avail - I miss him terribly, more than any other friend I've lost so far.
It's October 30 at the time I write this, and I wonder what he has planned, what he'll be for Halloween. I look over the pictures from the last seasons, and I look at the hilarious videos that we've made, and realize that we'll probably not ever get to do them again. But I cherish the fact that they've happened, and have to hold on to that I guess.
For some reason I'm thinking he's married?, and for some reason I'm thinking he's gone for good? Maybe it's just my insecurities again. I heard he was down one weekend about a week after I'd talked to him last, and he didn't call me to tell me he was down - so I kinda was upset, but I got over it. I figure he's dealing with things the best he can also. I know he's busy, and I don't want to put any more pressure on him because the last time I heard he was under a lot of that. so I'm at a loss as to what to do except be here if ever he wants a friend to listen.
I miss making up games and figuring out what to do when we're bored. No one else can "un-bored" me like Romeo can. lol. I miss you buddy, and wish you were back here more than anything. Change sucks BGDD - Big Green Donkey Dick.

Remember playing Doom, Duke Nuke'em, Hexen, Rockin' Roll Racing, Earthbound, Starcraft, Warcrafts, Diablo, Dungeon Keeper, Sims, Mario Kart, "Boobie Ball," Final Fantasies, Need for Speed, Super Smash Brothers, D&D (X-Box & Reg), & of course - Burnout & Burnout Takedown. Oh there are soooo many.

Remember going nutz when we saw our first PT Cruiser? And thinking they were one of the kewlest vehicles?
Remember going dice shopping?
Remember hand brakes on our cars?

Remember Shooting our arrows straight up to see how close we could get them?
Remember all our weapons? BB guns, knives, ninja stars, bull whip, bow & arrows, slingshot, darts, etc.
Remember target practicing our BB & pellet guns with those little plastic whatchamacallit dudes that were collectible heads? Well, and everything else we could find that we could shoot? lol. (Remember shooting up the monitor, & the soda bottles?)
Remember playing with the video camera - and video taping ourselves in the tv - so we got like a billion viewpoints - an endless vision through the tv? And then seeing all the pretty colors and playing with the effects?
Remember taking my snake Monty up to Warehouse Market? (we walked up there so we could show him off)
Remember Maggie cannons? lol.
Remember fitting 7+ people in my little Honda Civic? lol.
Remember when we were honking our horns at each other all the way to Tulsa, until - a mean looking guy (policeman?) got out of his car and asked me if we had a problem? And I said No, and he said good - then there won't be any more honking? lol.
Remember the search for the perfect sour candy?
Remember me doing the really loud Bew! thingie at the mall at your request?
Remember me saying really loud at the mall for you to "Quit eating me Allen!" when you wouldn't quit biting my finger? lol.
Remember introducing me to bourbon chicken & the best way to eat it? (I still eat it that way lol)
Remember our trip to the Blue Whale in Catoosa? Rawr!
Remember going to the Zoo (cave), Oxly Nature Center, and the park around it?
Remember going inside the state capitol with me in OKC? and looking up at the huge dome?

Remember when we were playing 20 questions in the car, and you came up with the best one ever? And we couldn't figure it out - and we always asked if it "was bigger than a breadbox?" - and your answer was - "breadbox?" Great. lol.

Remember... that I'll always care for you and the time we spent together, and that I cherish those moments. If I say crappy things it's because I'm hurt, and that I just want you around more than anything, and miss you being here to play, laugh, tackle, tickle, badminton, koosh, watch movies, listen to music, go to the lake, play computer games, and many other stuffeses with.
