| *Diving into a Cold Springs and hearing nothing beforehand but "Wait it's co---!!!" *Moms friend - lives in apartments. I somehow got press-on nails and moms friend's daughter said I should put them on anyway. We went to a club/spa - sauna & pool, and bathing suit shopping. *1st kiss?... one of - Harold outside of French class in hallway. Atchley or Pete - being held by them. *1st makeout... Pete (1st "heartbreak") *1st time to have sex - Warren. Out in a nature park - he was denied. Then out by a river past a place only trucks could get to. *Playing clarinet/viola in 6th & 5th grades - "devil went down to Georgia" song. *getting to be crossing guard/hall monitor - orange belts "safety patrol" *getting to do the play props for 5th grade play - palm trees & being lead actress *getting a valentines day card & a sugar-free chocolate bar from mom *library shared w/cafeteria - "weekly reader" book reports *reading groups - little reading circles *learning a bit of German - Mrs. Rhodes *Getting a handwriting award - cursive *Using the front break on my ten-speed - flipping and glasses flew *losing glasses in pond @ Braden park after crashing w/Neil *Kindergarten "don't touch anything" Ruler-incident *Staring at step-dad David's crotch (I wasn't) and getting in trouble for it *Lamp haunted - ceramic rocking horse lamp - ended up on other end of room *"marching men" - double ear infections ("hands-on healing") *running w/tongue out - run up porch, jump off end - bit thru tongue *ice chunks thrown @ me *phillip white - liked him in 5th grade. Garage sale near church - didn't get out because I'd missed a spot shaving legs and was afraid he'd see. I missed that opportunity because of self-doubt *Burbank - Halloween - coneys & cake walk w/my parents. *julie - therapist - mom & andrews therapist *allllll over sunburn from nudist camp *summer church camp - evil pamplets, against rock music. Family of skunks. Table tennis & 25 cent colas. Horse fart; deer you could almost walk up to; mandatory "quiet time" assignments. *cabbage patch songs/playscript *another christmas. pop-up camper, lights, I got them presents - wrapped (my neighbor friends) *duplex - pool across street. Bike almost got stolen by boy in park. Girl who wrote all over her walls in her room - had Christmas lights up, etc. Boy down street (same boy who stole/almost stole my bike? - transformers toys. Little duplex before that one - lots of bugs - my room was a closet. *volunteered for Katrina relief *been on tv twice (married & on the news) |
