9.23.2007 snow at gas station parking lot with suv's wedding dress & tux, no other preps & show up at thing. Decide not to get married. Huge cot-beds that are fancy... books - adult on one side, child on another, lady doing a dance to demonstrate where things were in this "library." (One room) I don't have these in order - not that it really matters I think. I was pumping gas, or standing next to this tall vehicle at the gas station, and there was 2 feet of snow on the ground or more. Except it was liquidy - 'cause I was swimming in it with no problems. I looked to my right and there was this guy having a tough time trying to get his car to stay Up above the snow line, but it kept dipping beneath & not being seen. Finally he decided just to drive on the ground beneath and I heard him leaving. For a second or two I was afraid he might run into me, but he didn't. Me and someone else was going to our SUV in a driveway. Everyone else was leaving too. We had been jam-packed into the driveway (of a home?) but no one had any difficulties getting out. I don't know if we were picking someone up or what. There were these cot-beds that were fold-ups. At first they looked like our Geri-chairs at work. But then we got the newer ones in & they folded out larger & with a more comfortable black mat-base to lay on. In fact, they were about 5 feet tall, and the one I was looking at had a bunk bed, so there was a cot underneath! In the same room there were books lining the wall. On one side there was adult books, and on the other side there were childrens books. The lady who was demonstrating where everything was said she didn't want to see us on this side of the room. (I thought to myself, unless we're putting stuff on the shelf - 'cause there was a bunch of just random things on the shelf like no one looked at that shelf.) The lady demonstrated where everything was by putting on some upbeat music, and starting at the children's section she pointed to the books & dvd's. I had the feeling we were out of time or hurried, and didn't understand why she was showing us a section we didn't need to use anyway. Tom/or another significant other and I were at the beach. This had been planned haphazardly from a previous marriage or something someone always wanted to do or something like that. I was in a white wedding dress with lacy sleeves & shoulders, and the man was in a tux. (I've never had a guy wearing a tux in either of my weddings. Well, one wasn't even a wedding - it was a justice of the peace fiasco.) So we get to the building where people have been scheduled to get married, and Tom/other hadn't scheduled ours. He figured we'd just show up. (Kinda what happened at the fiasco.) There was one spot vacated in the middle of the weddings, and we could've possibly had that slot. But I said that I wasn't going to get married under these circumstances & the wedding is off. We both started walking away and he was trying to convince me that we could get that slot no problem. Yeah - that's the logical thing, but not the feel-good thing.
